Samsung announces new portable projector with smart speaker 'The Freestyle'
Smart technology can analyse music and create accompanying visual effects
Samsung has announced the release of The Freestyle, an all-new mobile monitor and entertainment device, ahead of the CES 2022 tech conference.
The Freestyle is a projector, smart speaker, and ambient lighting gadget all bundled into one lightweight, portable device aimed towards Gen Z and millennials.

It has cutting-edge technology and versatility to provide ideal viewing, enjoyment, and an audio-visual experience.
The Freestyle's adaptable cradle allows for 180-degree rotation, allowing users to project high-quality video everywhere – tables, floors, walls, or even ceilings – without the need for a second screen.
As it accepts batteries for remote operation, it may be hooked into main power, taken on any adventure, and even utilised in video productions in the field.

The Freestyle can display a crystal-clear image on any surface, at any angle, up to 100 inches in size.
It has a dual passive radiator that allows for a clean and deeper bass without distortion, as well as 360-degree sound radiation that gives consumers a cinema-quality sound experience.
When used to listen to music and audio, the device uses smart technology to pair visual effects that can be projected on the wall, floors and anywhere else.

Aside from compatibility with the typical wall connection option, the gadget is a pioneer in that it is the first portable screen that works when attached to a normal E26 light socket without the need for additional wiring.
It's also the first projector with far-field voice control, allowing users to use the gadget hands-free while utilising their favourite voice assistants. The Freestyle appears to be just what tech enthusiasts have been yearning for.

The Freestyle was showcased during CES 2022 from January 5 to 7.
