Rinse FM announce residencies and schedule for summer 2022

This includes a prime time Dance Show hosted by Emerald every Friday evening

London's Rinse FM has just announced over 60 artists, DJs and labels which will be part of their summer 2022 schedule.

This eclectic line-up is full of some of the biggest names in electronic music and spans genres from jazz to drum 'n' bass.

Yung Singh, p-rallel-rallel, Jossy Mitsu, IZCO, KETTAMA, Kessler, Wunmi Bello, Bambe, Ouri, TEMET, Zaltan (Antidote), Tcheba, DJ Hype, and Inja are all acts that music fans can look forward to hearing over the summer on Rinse FM.

Shows to get excited about include “The Ultimate Afrobeats Show” with Neptizzle and “The Rap Show” with Pretty Hood, emerging London duo Two Shell.

Writing on Instagram, the community radio station said: "Over the past few months, our teams have been working hard behind the scenes reshaping and building what is to be the next generation of Rinse. Today, we can finally share our new radio residents for Spring/Summer, welcoming an amazing 90 new artists to the family across the U.K. and France."

New names joining the existing roster include Freshta, DJ Randall, Earful of Wax, Angel d’Lite, Amaliah and 96 Back.

The summer schedule also involves a prime time Friday evening 'Dance show', hosted by long-time resident Emerald.

Speaking about the new show, Emerald says: “I'm so ready, excited and happy to begin this new chapter of radio. This show feels like a coming together of all my passions, experiences and knowledge gained over the past decade of my professional life.

"Three hours of my selection of brand new and forthcoming underground club focused dance music across the spectrum. Championing unsung heroes, hidden talent, and established pioneers.

"Expect deep dives into my favourite cities for club culture, explorations from the archives of my favourite record labels old and new, an array of exciting guests consisting of DJs, producers and label heads currently driving the electronic music scene plus guest mixes, b2b's and live mixes from myself.”
