PinkPantheress missed out on Kendrick Lamar studio session due to phone being on silent
The artist “nearly” recorded a guest feature on a Lamar track
PinkPantheress has shared that she missed out on recording a guest feature on a Kendrick Lamar track... because she had her phone on silent.
The UK-based singer-songwriter revealed she was on a date in a cinema when she missed the call.“Oh fuck, I can’t even think about it,” she tells i-D. “I was watching Nightcrawler with this guy.”

Pink has not worked with Lamar yet, however she has collaborated with the likes of Skrillex, Sam Gellaitry, Troye Sivan, Destroy Lonely and her hit track ‘Boys a liar Pt.2’ with Ice Spice.
PinkPantheress is set to release her debut album ‘Heaven Knows’ on November 10. Featuring on the album will be her new single ‘Capable of love’ which is out now, and follows the release of ‘Mosquito’ last month.

The album has been written and produced by PinkPantheress and includes features from the likes of Greg Kurstin, Mura Masa, Danny L Harle, Count Baldor, Phil and Cash Cobain.
Speaking on the forthcoming album PinkPantheress explains: “The record is about grief for a loss but being at peace with yourself in your aloneness. Journeying from hell into purgatory, but I'm ok with being there.”
