Movement Detroit teases 2019 line-up with Amelie Lens, Hot Since 82, Orbital
Techno's birthplace welcomes a promising sneak peek of talent
Each year, Movement beckons a worldwide gathering of techno loyalists to the city of Detroit for three days of the genre's most coveted talents.
Paxahau, promoters of the pioneering festival, have released a handful of line-up names as a teaser to the full 2019 experience, which is set to take place May 25 through 27. With only a total of 10 names shared, Movement is already primed to be another can't miss event.
Firstly, Orbital will debut at Movement next year, which will also mark their live return to the city of Detroit for the first time in almost 20 years. Detroit's own Danny Brown has also been announced, representing Movement's consistent blend of genres across techno and hip-hop and rap. Additionally, Robert Hood joins as Floorplan with a live performance, alongside former Mixmag cover stars Amelie Lens and Hot Since 82, Stephan Bodzin live, DJ Nobu, Chris Lake and Heiko Laux.
