40 London underground stations are being closed due to coronavirus
The night tube is also stopping, and a reduced bus timetable will be in place
Transport for London (TfL) has announced the London Underground will be operating a reduced service to suppress the spread of the COVID-19 virus, with up to 40 stations set to close from today.
All night tube services will also be stopped. Buses will continue nighttime routes, but all bus routes will run a reduced timetable.

Mayor of London Sadiq Khan said: “People should not be travelling, by any means, unless they really, really have to. Londoners should be avoiding social interaction unless absolutely necessary, and that means they should be avoiding using the transport network unless absolutely necessary.”
