Knowledge Magazine is releasing a 25th anniversary book

It's a celebration of the legendary drum 'n' bass magazine

Legendary Knowledge Magazine is to release a 25th anniversary book this December.

The drum 'n' bass specialist magazine first came to print in 1994 and was last issued in 2014.

Editor and original co-founder Colin Steven said: “Reaching 20 years was such an important milestone but it was a bittersweet moment and I didn’t celebrate it because I knew the end was coming.

“Earlier this year I realised that this year was our 25th anniversary so I wanted to mark the occasion somehow. What better way than with one last issue?”

Knowledge was seen as the essential destination for the latest drum 'n' bass news and features, and this book will be nothing short of a collector's item.

The 10” x 10” hardback book will have a cloth cover debossed with the Knowledge logo and will contain 160 pages of new and classic long-form features and interviews.

Steven said he has considered doing a magazine for the anniversary but he wanted to make it really special.

Especially for those who still can’t throw away their copies of Knowledge.

He said: “If people can’t part with their magazines then surely they will appreciate a one-off premium book?”

Drum 'n' bass veteran Andy C said: “Knowledge was always an honest and upfront outlet for music news. It’s supported many great artists from the beginning.”

The book is available for pre-order now for £25 plus postage.
