Kanye West confirms ‘DONDA 2’ will be out next month
The record has allegedly been produced by Future
Kanye West has announced the release of a follow-up to 2021’s ‘DONDA’, titled ‘DONDA 2’.
“DONDA2 COMING 2 22 22 EXECUTIVE PRODUCED BY FUTURE” Kanye - now known mononymously as Ye - posted on Instagram last night.
While fans are excited to get a second album from Ye in the space of six months, others are speculating that this record might be aimed at his ex-wife’s new boyfriend, Pete Davidson.

The ‘DONDA’ sequel is set to be executive produced by fellow rapper Future which is due to drop on February 22, although Ye’s last studio record was famously pushed back time and time again, leaving fans on edge for its release.
“Ye has started working on his new masterpiece Donda 2,” said Steven Victor, former chief operating officer of Ye’s G.O.O.D. Music, in an interview with ComplexComplex ahead of the rapper’s official announcement.
“Listen, [Donda 2 is] coming sooner than you think. The procession is starting and it’s not stopping,” he added.
