Back in February, Eat Your Own Ears announced a compilation from some of dance music’s biggest names, including Four Set, Floating Points, Caribou, Metronomy, and Mount Kimbie.
Set up alongside Virgin’s music label, this marks the launch of a brand new record label coming 20 years since the party promoters first launched their iconic nights at Brick Lane’s 93 East.

“After a chance meeting with an artist manager friend while running along the canal in Hackney Marshes, I was introduced to the legendary Jim Chancellor, MD of Virgin Music Label and also Fiction Records, after a fair few lockdown zooms, Eat Your Own Ears Recordings was born,” said Eat Your Own Ears founder Tom Baker.
Tom also added that the forthcoming compilation album will include both unreleased and exclusive tracks from a long list of artists: “it will be a mix of exclusive new tracks, unreleased tracks, and tracks from artists on the EYOE roster past, present, and future.”

Also in November, Camelphat will be taking over the Depot Mayfield for a spectacular show with guests Maya Jane Coles, Kölsch, Obskür, Mind Against and more.
This will be one of the duo’s only shows in the UK in 2022, and they say that “shows at The Warehouse Project are always one of the highlights of [their] year”.
