Bilbao BBK also aims to spotlight broad creative endeavours, holding a longstanding art-music alliance with artist Vicente Paredes showcasing the identity and idiosyncrasy of Euskadi, a community within the festival's situation. And away from creative-orientated focuses, the festival is attempting to place more emphasis on its surrounding natural environment and its importance by raising awareness and allocating €3 of every ticket sold to reforesting and restoring a local burned-down area.
