Brussels' Fuse to celebrate three decades with world tour, book and compilation

Brussels-based nightclub Fuse has announced plans to celebrate its 30th anniversary with a world tour, with 10 global cities set to play host to the long-running nightclub.

The tour will start this April at Antwerp venue Waagnatie, with sets from Ellen Allien, I Hate Models, Mall Grab, Dax J b2b SPFDJ, LB aka LABAT and more across the club’s three rooms.

After Antwerp, Fuse will be hosting events across over 10 global cities with more to be revealed soon.

On top of its world tour, the club will be releasing a book, 30 Years Fuse, to reflect on three decades of parties in the heart of Brussels.

Accompanying the book, Fuse will also be releasing a vinyl compilation in October, featuring 30 tracks from artists linked to the club.

Spread across seven vinyl from the compilation will feature Planetary Assault Systems, Donato Dozzy, JakoJako and more.

Last year, the club Fuse announced it would reopen for two years, after being forced to close earlier that year due to noise complaints.

The decision to close the club was reviewed with the results allowing Fuse to reopen "under very strict conditions" from The Brussels Regional Administration (Brussel Leefmilieu/ Bruxelles Environnement).

Music levels are now reduced in the first and last hours of events, yet the club say they are “afraid” that it will close again as it “it won't be possible to work with these levels.”
