The Prodigy showcase laser tribute to Keith Flint at Coachella

A laser outline of the legendary frontman was beamed during 'Firestarter'

The Prodigy paid tribute to late frontman Keith Flint during their set at Coachella on Friday night, April 11.

A laser outline of Flint was beamed out as stage visuals during the group’s performance of ‘Firestarter’, which incorporated recording of the legendary performer’s vocals.

Flint died by suicide on 2019 at the age of 49. His passing was met with an outpouring of respects from across the music world, including from Skrillex, Andy C, Charlotte de Witte and Elton John.

The Prodigy were headlining the Mojave tent, with original members Liam Howlett and Maxim leading the 14-track set, which opened with 1996’s UK Number One hit ‘Breathe’.

The full set is viewable on Coachella’s YouTube channel, which is looping rolling streams of the first’s first weekend.
