Warehouse Project to host fundraiser for fabric
All ticket proceeds will be donated to the #SaveOurCulture fund
The Warehouse Project has renamed one of the nights from its 2016 season as a FABRICLIVE x WHP takeover as a show of solidarity with the London nightspot that recently had its licence revoked.
The event will take place on November 11 with Danny Brown, Benji B, Wiley, Section Boyz, Oneman, Clams Casino and Preditah among the artists performing.
Ticket proceeds will be donated to the #SaveOurCulture fund, which has raised over £170,000 in less than a week and will be transparently used by fabric in the legal battle against closure.
In a statement about the night, fabric said: "We're thrilled to have The Warehouse Project supporting us in our fight. This is an issue that directly affects every music venue in the UK, so it's great to join forces together. Our friends up north will be hosting FABRICLIVE as a one-off event in November in support of the #saveourculture campaign."
