Slow Porn

If you were a fan of Footprintz – which if you're reading this page you surely must be – then this EP from Slow Porn is essential. Their version of Yosoy's 'Soldier' is a brooding slo-mo anthem with Depeche Mode-style vocals, a bubbling low slung bassline and arping synths that bring the intensity. You'd happily end the night with it. 'Silver And Lust' is beautifully twisted, with Star Trek synths and good use of percussion.

The art house female vocals take us back to an experimental post-punk era, and the track grows in power as every synth on the track join into unity consciousness. Slow Porn are French duo Phred Noir (La Dame Noir's artistic director) and Meant Records label boss Remain. They've brought out all their twisted disco knowledge on this EP, which is not to be missed.
