DJ sets are often compared to journeys, but very few selectors can match up to the experiences Sasha induces behind a set of turntables.

Last Night On Earth is the perfect name for his label and party series, with the musical output of the imprint and atmosphere generated in the clubs at LNOE events capturing a rare, transcendent quality above its dancefloor sensibility. See his Mixmag Live set for a prime example.

For his next release, Sasha is stripping back the club and placing full emphasis on the mystical. 'Scene Delete', a mix CD released on Late Night Tales, consists of previously unheard, original productions.

The mix is constructed from tracks Sasha made over the years that don’t fit into a club context. It takes cues from visionary composers such as Steve Reich and Nils Frahm, traversing through minimalist compositions and vast soundscapes for an atmospheric and oscillating aural experience.

We’re delighted to premiere one of our favourite cuts from ‘Scene Delete’ today. ‘Warewolf’ combines an aqueous base layer with gentle chord strums and Burial-esque, reverb-soaked vocal chops to form a track that envelops you with its warmth. Listen below.
