Premiere: SHALT's 'First Pulse' is an immense slice of immersive club

From E.M.M.A to LOFT, 2017 has seen stellar release after release from LA-based underground imprint Astral Plane Recordings.

Up next, SHALT returns to the label with an immense slice of immersive club. The forthcoming three-tracker, titled 'ʃælt', will be his third outing on the imprint, as he hones in on the loop-based dance forms and continues to experiment with the physicality of his productions. On ‘First Pulse’, SHALT embraces a slower tempo as he crafts a delicate sense of urgency throughout the track. Introverted, broody and undeniably dramatic, the chugging tune feels like an assured progression for one of the scenes rising stars, as he delves deep into club music's emotive core.
