Remedy State just launched a very chill wellness retreat at IMS in Ibiza
Remedy State will offer holistic practices to help promote self-care in creative industries
A new wellness retreat is launching on the White Isle in partnership with IMS Ibiza.
Titled Remedy State, the inaugural retreat takes place May 21 through to 23 as a precursor to the IMS festivities.
Advocating, celebrating and teaching wellness and self-care within arts and entertainment industries, Remedy State’s holistic programme features mindfulness, exercise, physical therapy, medical evaluation and nutrition.
Founded by IMS’ Ben Turner alongside artist and former OWSLA co-owner Blaise James DeAngelo, Remedy State aims to support the dance music community both through the use of self-care practices and mental health compassion.
Via a press statement Turner explained, “After a 25-year journey travelling the world appreciating and influencing the electronic music industry through many initiatives, I realised I needed to go on a similar journey about the lifestyle pressures surrounding how we work.”
Adding, “I felt it necessary to share our vision and experiences for generations old and new. This is just the start.”
Inspired by traditional Eastern medicine practices such as acupuncture, Ayurveda and yoga alongside complimentary therapies such as nutrition and osteopathy, the retreat will focus on promoting healing and well-being within industry.
The intimate three-day event will also include keynote lectures from high-flying doctors, as well as fully inclusive meals, nature walks and breathing workshops.
Remedy State: IMS Ibiza takes place May 21-23 2018. A limited number of retreat badges will be available for an introductory price of €300, with a small number of on-site accommodation packages available for an additional €900.
To buy badges standalone head to the Remedy State website, or grab one in an IMS bundle here.
