Hear a rare Rush Hour tape from Ben UFO, Pearson Sound and Joy Orbison
The tape has been re-released via Soundcloud
In 2015, Rush Hour recorded a special in-store session led by Hessle Audio head honcho Ben UFO and flanked by label partner Pearson Sound and Joy Orbison. The rare session was originally released only via a limited edition batch of 50 cassette tapes that sold out immediately.
Solace has arrived, thanks to a select of those few that were able to get their hands on a tape and rip the mix for a digital upload for the rest of us. The cassette is a nudge over 40 minutes of eclectic dance tunes ranging from foggy dub to aged synth jams and soulful ballads. The mix is rounded out with a voiceover, which explains the romance of limited-run dubplate cutting culture.
Stream the mix in full, digital glory, below.
