Jaunt may have started out as an intimate club night in Newcastle but now, eight years on, it's one of the most recognised party brands in the country. Unwavering in its sound and booking policy, the Jaunt team has always locked in the cream of the crop to play its events.

DJs roll up to play extended sets at Jaunt's Cosmic Ballroom home and the likes of Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Kerri Chandler, Derrick May, Dixon and most recently DVS1, have all graced the party.

It doesn't stop there though. Having established the party over the years, Jaunt launched their own record label of the same name back in 2014 and although we've only heard three releases, they've all been pretty special. Label and party bosses Blackhall & Bookless have been responsible for two and now they return for the imprint's fourth release.

The 'Links' EP is an incredibly deep and intricate record, one that explores the different aspects of the duo's techno range. With support already coming from nearly all the DJs who've played the night, we're now thrilled to present Don Williams' remix of the title-track.

Williams takes the chopping synths from the original and lays them on top of a steady and rolling 4/4 beat. As the track evolves the pads become more erratic and expose a darker edge, which naturally we love. It's an emotion-laced edit and another jewell in Jaunt's already shining crown.

The 'Links' EP will be released soon via Jaunt Records
