Actress brings new live/AV show to the US
"One intelligent musical instrument called AZD”
UK producer and Werkdiscs boss Darren Cunningham (aka Actress) has brought his new, chrome-coated live/AV show to the US.
An agent of complex and unconventional electronic arrangements, the new show revolves around Actress’ most recent and celebrated album 'AZD', released via Ninja Tune earlier this year. Complete with two AI performers on either side of him, the thoughtfully-curated performance is meant “to create one intelligent musical instrument called AZD”.
Actress will perform alongside Nicolas Jaar in Brooklyn and will join Telefon Tel Aviv for a handful of dates in Texas. Check out the tour dates here.
