Yung Lean and Sad Boys Release 'One Wish' Capsule

Sad Boys — the music and creative collective from artist Yung Lean — is releasing a new take on the Converse One Star as an epilogue to the limited “Toxic” capsule introduced at the Converse One Star Hotel in 2018.

Swedish artist Bladee was enlisted to offer a new take on the classic style. The resulting sketches, which manifest through the silhouette’s design and ‘Wish’ character avatar, hold a charm and reflect Yung Lean and Bladee’s desire to showcase the world as they see it: troubled and strange, but beautiful in a unique way.

Coming to life in a black upper with hints of silver and original sketch work, the One Star supports Sad Boys’ deconstructed aesthetic and hosts design nuances like the ‘Wish’ character on the sockliner and its transparent outsole.

Reminiscent of the stylings of Sadboys Gear (Yung Lean & Sad Boys own clothing brand) the Converse x Sad Boys collection also includes a heavy weight silver-foil printed tee and studded mini backpack.

For more info visit sadboysgear.com for clues to break the code from 21st August, and the full collection available at converse.com beginning 29th of August.
