The news channel has made a massive clanger
ABC News is receiving strong criticism from house music fans the world over after branding David Guetta the ‘Grandfather of Electronic Dance Music’.
In a recent interview with the French DJ on his latest album ‘7’, the ABC News clip praises Guetta for supposedly ‘bringing house music back to America’, leaving both house fans and artists insulted.
Social media is blowing up with artists and fans dragging the interview, with many pointing toward the obvious fact that dance music legends such as Larry Levan, Frankie Knuckles, Ron Hardy and David Mancuso, among many others, have been disrespected, not to mention clubs like The Warehouse in Chicago which gave birth to house music back in the 80s. The list could go on.
