Last month, a Twitter user named Chelsea took to the platform to share a story that took place in Los Angeles in 2013, accusing The Gaslamp Killer of allegedly drugging and raping her and her friend.

Now, the DJ (real name William Bensussen) has retaliated by suing both women mentioned in the story (Chelsea Tadros and RaeAn Medina) as well as Chelsea's boyfriend (who helped share the story) for up to $5 million for defamation.

In the suit documents, as obtained by TMZ, he admits to having what he suggests was consensual sex with the two women, further adding that they propositioned him, instead of the other way around.

Bensussen calls their accusations "malicious and fabricated", adding information about two witnesses by the name of “Christopher S.” and “Peter R.” (Bensussen's housemate) who can reportedly attest to his version of the story. He claims that the witnesses "could see the drinks the entire time" and support GLK's claim that he never tampered with or spiked their drinks. The witness named Peter also claims that he saw the women depart with Bensussen "under their own power and did not seem incapacitated".

Following the accusations, The Gaslamp Killer was immediately dropped from his longtime residency with Low End Theory and his forthcoming Australian tour was cancelled.
