Low End Theory officially parts ways with Gaslamp Killer

Following a serious accusation made by Twitter user named Chelsea about Gaslamp Killer allegedly raping her and a friend several years ago, the artist (actual name William Bensussen) has been officially dropped by Low End Theory.

The Los Angeles-based weekly party series, which focuses on hip-hop, experimental and electronic sounds, has welcomed Gaslamp Killer as one of its longtime residents for many years.

Via their Twitter account, Low End Theory issued a statement explaining that organizers are "deeply saddened to learn of the allegations" and have decided to officially part ways with Gaslamp Killer due to the "nature of the allegations".

Since the public accusation, Gaslamp Killer has since responded with his own statement.
