Beirut's nightclub scene is given new life with The Ballroom Blitz
First opening its doors back in October of this year, Beirut's newest nightclub, The Ballroom Blitz, has quickly turned into one of Lebanon's best locations for underground dance music. In just a few months, the venue has already welcomed the likes of Answer Code Request, Martin Buttrich, Actress, Max Cooper, Weval and more to take over its bumping dancefloor.
This 1000 capacity venue separates into three rooms - The Ballroom, The Goldroom and The Lobby - all of which are connected by curved, acoustically-isolated tunnels. With top-notch local and international talent taking over each room on any given weekend, The Ballroom Blitz has given Beirut's fabulous club culture a new edge that is being thoroughly explored and admired by the city's colorful population of clubland revelers.
Making their ethos known to the global electronic community, the venue states they hope to use their "dynamic, transformative and diverse" space to "foster a collaborative club culture in Beirut." The venue also acts as an outlet for musical and audiovisual productions by offering a variety of seminars and workshops.
This holiday season and well into 2019, The Ballroom Blitz will be bringing acts such as Derrick May, Stimming (live), Prins Thomas, Petre Inspirescu, Eclair Fifi, Marcus Marr, Nastia, Interstellar Funk, Bradley Zero, Ryan Eliott, Detroit Swindle, Jan Blomqvist (live), DVS1 and more to the Lebanese capital.
