Tee Mango

When Tom Mangan isn’t designing stylish streetwear for his Millionhands fashion brand, he’s producing enchanting house music. Mangan has worked under a few different aliases since putting out his first release near the start of the millennium, but has recently hit a stride working as Tee Mango.

Last year he inaugurated the Millionhands Black subdivision of his label which has hosted a series of sample-driven EPs of raw and sultry house. All four of the vinyl-only ‘Tribute’ instalments have sold out, with close to 2,000 records being shifted.

Now he’s maintaining that winning formula with his debut Tee Mango album ‘IMPERFECTIONS VOL. 1’. The 12-track release is a captivating journey through rough-around-the-edges but deeply soulful sounds characterised by expressive vocal samples and warm melodies.

We’re delighted to be premiering ‘Music For Molly’ from the LP. A lilting percussive line underpins the track with subtle elegance, laying a foundation from which mystical synths rise and sparkle. Check it out below.
