Strictly Rhythm enlist Todd Edwards to remix classic house track 'Deep Inside'
It's the first official remix in several years
Iconic house label Strictly Rhythm has enrolled Todd Edwards to remix the imprint's classic track, 'Deep Inside'.
Alongside wanting to give this record its first official remix in several years, the label also got Obskϋr involved to remix Barbara Tucker's 'Beautiful People'.
Edwards' remix delivers a vibrant and pulsating garage-infused edition of the record, paying homage to Masters At Work's tribal percussion, who he counts as one of his biggest sonic influences.

"I used to hear Louie play this on a Wednesday night at the Sound Factory hosted by diva Barbara Tucker herself," he explained.
"It was an honour to remix this classic track by one of my favourite producers! I hope the love I put into it shows," he added when speaking to Mixmag.
Announcing the remix on Instagram earlier this week, Edwards coined Strictly Rhythm as "legendary", noting on the day of release that he'd been playing it in his sets "for a while now".

Edwards has been busy lately: he's been applying his unique blend of rhythmic vocal samples with basslines and upbeat percussion to a variety of remixes, including Fatboy Slim's 'Rockafella Skank' and Disclosure's 'Waterfall x Raye'.
