Sónar Festival is coming to Mexico City in 2019

In a reserved yet exciting announcement, the long-running Barcelona-based festival, Sónar, has revealed that the event will be coming to Mexico City in 2019.
The announcement gave no details regarding the upcoming festival's dates, artists or venues. However, a warm-up event called A Taste Of Sónar will take place on November 15 at Ex-Fábrica de Harina in Mexico City. The event will be headlined by the French electronic music icon Laurent Garnier. Tickets are available here
This year, Sónar celebrated its 25 year anniversary by sending specifically composed pieces of music from the likes of Nina Kraviz, Kerri Chandler, Autechre, The Black Madonna, Fatima Al Qadiri, Soichi Terada, Kode 9 and more into outer space. Learn more here
