Skrillex’s Primavera Sound set interrupted after fire breaks out onstage

Skrillex was forced to stop his set at Primavera Sound festival in Barcelona on Friday night after a fire broke out onstage.

Pausing the set for around 10 minutes, the fire started on one of the stage lights and caused no injuries.

According to Pitchfork, a festival employee explained that the fire was down to a “technical error” from the lighting rig.

Once the fire had been extinguished by a team of Primavera crew, Skrillex returned to his set.
