Skream releases remix of Trance Wax’s ‘El Nido’
The track dropped on Friday
Skream, real name Oliver Jones, dropped a remix to Trance Wax’s ‘El Nido’ on Friday. Fresh from the release of bass-filled rave anthem ‘Space Ghetto’ from his forthcoming EP, the UK heavyweight’s track provides an upbeat and energetic vibe, taking the listener on a whirlwind three minute experience.
It’s a contrast to his early dubstep sounds - yet unsurprising to many who have witnessed Jones’ evolution and exploration of genres in recent years.

Trance Wax is an alias of Belfast-born Garry McCartney - also known as Ejeca - who has crafted edits of classics from names such as Mauro Picotto and Yves Deruyter which have become anthems for the likes of Bicep, Nina Kraviz and The Blessed Madonna.
The remix marks Jones’ first release on the label Anjunabeats, which is run by trio Above and Beyond.
