Shanti Celeste
The Bristolian high-riser serves up more sublime house
Secretsundaze is the world-renowned party-brand that throws shindigs all over the globe. We do our best to make it to the majority of their bashes and previous guests include heavyweights like Steffi, Ryan Elliott, Martyn, Roman Flugel and Derrick May.
James Priestley and Giles Smith always bring the good time party vibe and we'll be inviting them back to the Lab LDN in a few weeks for more vinyl grooves and supreme jams.
But wait a minute, not only do the crew throw sick parties, they also run a record label that plays home to some of their favourite artists.
DJ Qu, Amir Alexander and Endian have all dropped EPs and next up to release the 18th instalment is Bristol high-flyer Shanti Celeste. We've kept our eye on the selector after she released sublime EPs on Broadwalk Records, Idle Hands and Brstl.
Her nostalgia-flecked house sound has been tantalising listeners for the last few years and if it's bumping basslines and killer groove you're after, she's your girl. We've got the premiere of of 'Nu4Him' which is taken from her 'Alma' EP and you can expect majestic synths, rolling percussion and sensual vocal slurrings. It's got all the makings of a Celeste banger and we love it. Check it.
The 'Alma' EP by Shanti Celeste is out on Secretsundaze on September 21st, pre-order the record here
