Premiere: Jasper James gets 'Dirty Wrong' with a jubilant disco roller
The Scotsman's new EP will drop via Play It Say It
Jasper James' career just seems to be on a constant rise and it really is a joy to witness. His Dad, Harri James, is the esteemed resident at Sub Cub and now Jasper is carving a legacy out for himself, doing Scotland proud in the process.
After a hugely successful residency at Brixton's Phonox, the selector's gig schedule is now completely packed and he's backing those sets with a bubbling array of solo releases.
Following EPs on Leftroom and Optimo Trax, James heads to Seth Troxler's Play It Say It label with a disco fiesta, guaranteed to set dancefloors alight this summer, trust us.
'Dirty Wrong' comes backed with two lively Rob Mello remixes but the original is our pick of the bunch and it's a full-bodied injection of sheer happiness. Slick vocal cuts, a shoulder-rolling groove and percussion that even the dancers at Studio 54 would be throwing it down to.
Keep it up Jasper, the future is looking bright.
