Apple Music launches DJ support across rekordbox, Serato, Denon DJ, djay pro and more

Apple Music is now be available for users across a host of major DJ software and hardware platforms.

From yesterday (March 25), DJ with Apple Music gives users on programmes such as rekordbox, Serato DJ Pro, Engine DJ and Algoriddim's djay Pro.

The streaming platform's library of over 100 million tracks, alongside playlists and saved music - will also be available on a number of hardware devices, such as AlphaTheta's OMNIS-DUO and XDJ-AZ, and other all-in-one systems from Denon DJ, Numark and RANE DJ.

“With this latest integration, we’re taking that commitment even further—seamlessly connecting Apple Music with the industry’s leading DJ software and hardware," Apple Music's Global Head of Dance, Electronic & DJ Mixes Stephen Campbell said in a statement.

"This innovation brings the full power of Apple Music into the creative workflow, making it easier than ever for DJs to access, play, and discover music in real time,” he continues.

Alongside the addition to DJ programmes and hardware, Apple Music has also launched the "DJ with Apple Music" section on its app, which features "DJ-friendly editorial playlists, along with new curator pages for each DJ software and hardware platform showcasing any mixes or sample playlists that can be used to practice."
