Origins celebrates 10 years with huge stretch of shows

10 years to the month on from its founding party in a now-closed club basement in Bath, house and techno night Origins has announced a series of events across both its home city and London.

There's 12 nights in the diary, taking place at current homes of Moles and Komedia plus Night Tales, Night Tales Loft, Village Underground, Corsica Studios, FOLD and The Pickle Factory.

Stretching from November 12 through December 17, those announced so far to play include Dr Rubinstein, Dan Shake, Angel D'Lite, Octo Octa and Sally C.

Origins is still yet to announce further artists, and who will be playing which venue on which date, but have revealed that the debut party to celebrate its birthday will take place at Night Tales Loft on November 12.

All shows, in typical Origins style, will be curated and played by those closely involved in the long-running party, with its crew thanking punters for its lengthy success over the years in an announcement post on Instagram this week.

"10 years on, 225 shows later, this autumn we celebrate with 12 parties (maybe more?) over 5 weeks in 2 cities, staying true to what we love, in the venues that we love," the post read. "Huge thank you to everyone who’s made this series possible, from the artists to the venues and agencies; and everybody who has got us to this unbelievable landmark."
