Orbital’s Phil and Paul Hartnoll are set to soundtrack a brand new Netflix series coming this summer, The Pentaverate.

Landing on the streaming platform on May 5, The Pentaverate features a score entirely curated by the duo which is said to include “some of their best work” to date.

“An unlikely pair of Kentish brothers find themselves on a mission to score the truth and possibly do some of their best work ever,” they announced on Twitter alongside a teaser for the new show.

Starring Mike Myers, The Pentaverate also features stars from the likes of Jeremy Irons who narrates the series, as well as Richard McCabe, Ken Jeong, Keegan-Michael Key, and Lydia West.

“After influencing global events for centuries, a secret society faces a dangerous threat from within. Can a Canadian reporter save them — and the world?” reads the description for the forthcoming series.

Also featuring British comedian Jennifer Saunders in two separate roles, the series focuses on a secret society of men with Mike Myers changing between eight different characters.

Orbital recently celebrated 30 years since the release of their debut self-titled album that shot the pair into fame in 1991.

To celebrate, Orbital called in multiple artists to remix tracks such as ‘Are We Here?’ reworked by both Dusky and Shanti Celeste, and ANNA who took on remix duties of their hit track ‘Belfast’.

Earlier last year, Special Request also took the reigns on remixing Orbital’s classic track ‘Chime’, which was later used in a documentary on the legacy of UK rave, Better Days: The Story of UK Rave.
