A new Notorious B.I.G. documentary is coming to Netflix
Biggie: I Got A Story to Tell is out in March
A new documentary about East Coast hip hop legend The Notorious B.I.G. is coming out on Netflix next month.

It’s titled Biggie: I Got A Story to Tell and will focus on the rapper’s, real name Christopher Wallace, life before he rose to hip hop fame as The King of New York’ with the help of “unprecedented access granted by the Wallace estate”.
Biggie Smalls’ mother Voletta Wallace said: “This will be the first documentary to focus on the experiences of my son’s life rather than the circumstances of his death. It is a celebration of who he was and where he came from. This is how he would have wanted to be remembered.”
The feature-length film has a runtime of 97 minutes, and features rare and recently unearthed behind the scenes footage and testimonies from his close friends and family.
Footage includes Biggie at work in the studio writing some of his classic songs and previously unseen concert performance clips.

Christopher Wallace was born in New York City in 1972 and rose to fame as one of the greatest rappers in history, known as The Notorious B.I.G or Biggie Smalls.
His 1994 debut album ‘Ready to Die’ is regularly heralded as one of the finest rap albums of all time, helping to bring the East Coast hip hop scene back to prominence during a time when West Coast artists were dominating the charts. It was certified 6x Platinum in 2018.
He was shot dead by an unknown assailant in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles in March 1997 aged 24.
He continues to be the subject of much interest and his posthumous legacy is vast, with numerous films and posthumously released albums and tracks continuing to come out.
