New York’s dweller unveils 2024 line-up including DJ Stingray 313, Actress & more

New York’s dweller festival has unveiled its 2024 line-up.

The five-day event returns this year for its fifth birthday, taking place from February 20 - 25 across multiple venues in New York City.

dweller has now concluded its 2024 billing spotlighting Black DJs and producers from all over the globe, with dozens of club nights, live shows, and more across five days.

This year’s line-up includes the likes of DJ Stingray 313, Actress, Theo Parrish, Colored Craig, Josey Rebelle, DJ Lag, Robert Hood, and Rroxymore.

UK talent including Coki, Niks, Tim Reaper, Batu, and Sarra Wild also feature on the line-up this year, as well as New York locals such as Galcher Lustwerk, Kilopatrah Jones, Kush Jones, Livwutang, Swami Sound, and quest?onmarq. Check out the full line-up below.

dweller was first launched in 2019 as an event series, festival, and later a blog “centering Black perspectives”, based in New York. "We strive to be a Black lighthouse; a siren in the storm for those who know the isolating whitewaters of electronic all too well,” reads dweller’s blog.

“At this time, the authorities controlling this current seek to drown the voices and new structures that can reverse the flow of power back into our hands,” they explain.

“We must be vigilant towards persisting as to not just speak for ourselves but redistribute resource, equity, and justice in a space that has long made its worth on the backs of the silenced."

Since its launch, dweller has expanded beyond New York with an event at Berghain’s Panorama Bar in Berlin last year, featuring an all-Black line-up.

dweller has since confirmed that a second edition will not take place in Berlin in 2024 in support of Strike Germany, a campaign set up to "protect artistic freedom, fight against anti-semitism, and combat structural racism".

In January, dweller announced the launch of a specially curated 13-part film collection spotlighting the Black origins of dance music, set to be streamed via The Criterion Channel throughout February.
