Village Underground is set to host a screening of a new documentary about the underground dance music scene in Iran called Raving Iran on April 27.

German director Susanne Regina Meures helmed the film, which digs deep into the oppressive atmosphere and struggles faced by DJs Anoosh and Arash aka Blade & Beard in the Middle Eastern country.

The evening will include a live q+a and after party with a DJ set and debut UK appearance from Blade & Beard.

Tickets are on sale and can be purchased here, with all proceeds going to Amnesty International's #freeartists campaign and UK homeless charity Crisis.
