A new venue, ARSENAL XXII, has opened in Kyiv.

The venue is located in an industrial complex and aims to deliver a range of multi-disciplinary events. Music, parties, lectures and exhibitions are set to take place at the venue.

“The vision of the project as a cultural forge was born from the historical context of the building as it used to be a weapon forge in the past.” The team behind the ARSENAL XXII have said.

They continued: “The 22nd workshop of the Arsenal plant used to manufacture pretty much everything for 250 years - from military equipment to optical lenses and cameras. Our team decided to continue the historical purpose of these walls and thus we created a new forge - a place where a cultural product will be created in the face of the Ukrainian electronic music scene and its talented representatives.”

Parties are set to be held every Friday with acid, electro, techno and more electronic music being played.

“We want ARSENAL XXII to become a place where guests will always dance with pleasure, regardless of whether they are familiar with the artist's work or not,” The team behind the art centre have noted.

The venue has its own bar, called the Vognyk, playing disco and house music - nicknamed the “Wonderful People Bar.”

Guests will be asked not to film or take photos inside the venue upon entry.
