Man who snorkelled his way into music festival skips $350 ticket
“Funny thing is, once I was in there, nobody questioned the outfit at all”
A man who snorkelled his way into Ultra Music Festival in Miami last weekend succeeded when he was given a VIP pass for his ingenious idea.
The genius hack landed Jack Davidson, who documented his entire journey on TikTok, a ticket to the three-day event after he was caught by coast guards.
Davidson dodged the $350 ticket prices by sporting a swimsuit, flippers and a snorkel and taking to the Miami shores to sneak his way into the event, which took place from Friday, March 25 to Sunday, March 27.

Davidson documented the journey on TikTok, first taking the plunge into the sea surrounding Ultra Music’s home of Bayfront Park on the coast, where he subsequently got caught by patrolling police.
The video shows the man pulled out of the water by security, captioned: “They caught me and put me in the police boat”.

“And the cops thought it was so funny that they gave me a VIP band,” he said, posing with the crew who caught him.
The trickster then made his way into the festival still clad in a wetsuit and snorkel, flippers in hand, to party at the 165,000 attended event.
Davidson shared clips pouring drinks into his snorkel and drinking through the piece of scuba diving equipment before heading into the crowd to rave with other partygoers.
Replying to a comment that suggested the absurd event couldn’t be real, the snorkeler replied: “100% true story! I think it’s crazy too but I promise it happened.”
In another comment, Davidson explained: “Funny thing is, once I was in there, nobody questioned the outfit at all”.
