Madonna hints at headlining Glastonbury in 2027
In an interview with Graham Norton, she teased something “big” next year
Madonna has hinted that she could top the bill at next year's Glastonbury Festival in a new interview with Graham Norton.
Speaking on The Graham Norton Show on Friday, June 26, Madonna said she’s planning "something bigger" next summer after a string of worldwide shows.
When asked about her plans, she explained: "I think I'll do promo tours for a while, then in the summertime something bigger," inciting a wide-eyed reaction from the TV host.

"Oh, that sounds really exciting. I think I know what you're talking about," Norton alluded, asking if it’s in the UK, to which she responded with a slight smile.
"It could be," she responded. "Why do you have to know everything? I’ve told you a lot of interesting things, that’s what you get, and the rest you have to wait for."
While Madonna was heavily rumoured to headline the Worthy Farm festival in 2024, negotiations seemingly fell through. She's still yet to make her Glastonbury debut.

The speculation comes ahead of the release of Madonna's next studio album 'Confessions on a Dance Floor: Part II', which sees her explore electronic music in a follow-up to her 2005 dance-pop album of the same name.
Slated for release on July 3, the album takes it back to "where it all began", she said in an Instagram post in September, "back to music and back to the dancefloor".
Earlier this month, Madonna also announced the release of a new short film titled CONFESSIONS II – The Film, which nods to the legendary New York club Danceteria, where Madonna cut her teeth.
