Maceo Plex creates new label for personal experimentation, MPLX
The imprint's first EP 'Mutant Romance' drops on December 7
Maceo Plex, the man behind numerous lauded imprints and roving parties, is starting a new music label.
MPLX will be the Maceo Plex's "vehicle for personal experimentation" and will only see releases from the artist himself. The imprint's inaugural two-track EP 'Mutant Romance' will drop on December 7.
Unequivocally one of the hardest-working electronic artists in the game, Maceo Plex has kept himself busy organizing a slew of releases on his other imprints Lone Romantic, Ellum, and Ellum's new sub-label, Ellum Black.
Having just dropped Jensen Interceptor's inspired debut LP 'Mother' on Lone Romantic, the next release on the label comes in the form of a reissue series that features monsterous electro tracks from the late '90s and beyond. In addition to this, Spanish artist ORBE will make his debut on Ellum Black with the 'Excited' EP on December 7.
