New club space to open within Liverpool's Invisible Wind Factory

Liverpool's Invisible Wind Factory is set to open a new club space next month.

Kapsule will open within IWF's current headquarters, a former wind turbine factory in Liverpool's "Ten Streets" area, close to the North Dock and Vauxhall.

Kapsule will open its doors for the first time next month, with a showcase from Liverpool-based DJs Samuel Lamont and Steve Parry of 909 UK on Friday, May 2.

Described as an "intimate club space", Kapsule is the brainchild of Invisible Wind Factory and Liverpool-based Sun Palace Sound System - who operate the UK's only quadraphonic RLA system.

As a result, the venue has been kitted out with a 4-point high-fidelity soundsystem and substack — the same system used by venues such as Studio 54, Paradise Garage and Liverpool's Nation nightclub, the former home of Cream.

IWF and Sun Palace Sound System have already collaborated on a number of events, bringing its RLA system to Invisible Wind Factory's "Substation" basement venue for a listening lounge and a sunset event earlier this month.
