Liam Gallagher on Carl Cox: "Never heard of him. Who is he?"

Just when you thought the Liam Gallagher quote train had slowed up, he's blown out some steam and is continuing his assault on the tracks.

Taking a break from aiming potshots at older brother Noel, he's once again made it clear he really isn't into dance music.

This time Carl Cox is the verbal victim in a recent interview with Junkee.

Liam told the interviewer that he doesn't hang out with bands, to which they replied "What about Carl Cox?"

"Never heard of 'em," Liam replied. "Who is he?" He then added that he "doesn't hang out with DJs. Fuck that, man."

He was then asked if he doesn't think DJs are real musicians, and, to be fair to him, his response wasn't as aggressive as it has been in the past.

"They play other people’s music, which is fine, ‘cause so do I, before you fuckin’ start. But I’m not into fucking dance music. Doesn’t do it for me."

The 'As You Were' artist also once said he's "not arsed about fucking dance music" and went in on Calvin Harris.
