​Liam Gallagher calls Calvin Harris "the most boring fucking person"

Former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher is never one to shy away from speaking his mind and he recently spoke out against the idea that EDM artists are rock stars, while also taking a jab at Calvin Harris.

It’s no secret Liam hates dance music and the artists that populate that specific side of the industry. Earlier this month he blatantly said dance music artists and bands “should be ashamed of the shit they put out. They need fuckin' shooting.”

Now, in a recent interview with Huck Magazine Liam lashed out at Calvin Harris and the notion that dance music artists have become today’s rock stars: “Did they? Not in my world, they haven’t. What, Calvin fuckin’ Harris? The most boring fucking person? Fuck off, mate… I’ll tell you what they’ve become: the new accountants!”

The seemingly sudden outpouring of Liam’s distaste with current music comes at a time when he is preparing to release his debut solo album. Time will tell how the public reacts to his new material.

For all those Oasis fans eager to wonder if the band will have a reunion tour, Liam says don’t hold your breathe. He’s still not on good terms with brother Noel: “Oasis ain’t gettin’ back together… As far as I’m concerned, he’s turned into a corporate gobshite. I don’t know if I could be in a band with him and I’m sure he wouldn’t want to be in one with me either.”

Noel on the opposite end of the spectrum is down with dance music, thinks Defected Records are "fucking amazing" and had his mind blown by acid house.
