Legendary London nightclub The End to “return” for one weekend this October
‘This is The End, 1995 – 2025: Defining an Era’ celebrates the iconic club across three days
Legendary former London nightclub The End is set to “return” for one weekend only in October.
The iconic club, which orginially shuttered in 2009 after 16 years, is celebrating three decades since it first opened with ‘This is The End, 1995 – 2025: Defining an Era’ - a three-day party hosted at Camden’s KOKO.
The event series will take place from Friday, October 10, through to Sunday, October 12, celebrating “the history of the iconic nightclub and institution” across three nights.

The events will be headed up by Layo and Zoe Paskin, who ran the original The End venue before its closure, according to London On The Inside.
This is The End will “pay homage to the innovative sounds of The End, with some of the best artists in the game,” (per LOTI), though line-ups for the event series are yet to be announced.
The End first opened in Bloomsbury, London, in 1995, specialising in select genres like dubstep, house, drum ‘n’ bass, breaks, and techno throughout the week and weekends.

The venue hosted famed club nights including DTPM and Trash, and helped to nurture the careers of then-emerging artists like Roni Size, Fatboy Slim, and Erol Alkan.
In 2009, The End closed its doors to the public. After a legal battle with developers who looked to turn the venue into flats, The End reopened that same year under the name The Den, which later closed in 2012.
Pre-sale tickets for This is The End will go on same at 11:AM on August 29, while general sale will go live at 12:PM on the same day. Find out more here.
