Leeds Garden Party announces its biggest party to date for 2022
Back with a new location this Summer!
Leeds-based festival The Garden Party Weekender has announced its 2022 plans and line-up following the event's 2021 return since the beginning of the pandemic.
The 16th edition will land at a new - yet to be announced - venue in the city centre and span across various stages on the early May bank holiday weekend, on April 30 and May 1
Names on the line-up include a mixture of household names and more local talent: DJs such as Denis Sulta, Jon Hopkins, Skream and La La are joined by local talent such as Abi Whistance, Junior Simba and Norfn Gal.

Director of New Citizens, Matt Long - the company behind The Garden Party - says: “We’re so excited to be back for our 16th year of The Garden Party Leeds. Our reopening last year after lockdown was a huge hit and the welcome back we all needed. It seemed like it was going to be hard to top, but this year we’ve gone even bigger and better event.
"One weekend, a brand new never before used city centre venue, and the biggest line up we've ever produced.”

The new location for 2022 will allow the expansion of the festival: this is the first edition in which there will be two main stages - fully outdoors - for festivalgoers to explore.
It'll be a 10-minute walk from Leeds train station, too, providing easy access for those wanting to travel and attend.
Pre-sale tickets will be available at 9am on February 16 and you can sign up here. If any tickets remain, general sale will take place on February 17.
