Lady Gaga’s next album will reportedly be informed by “industrial” dance music

Lady Gaga has revealed that her next album, dubbed ‘LG7’, will be informed by “industrial’ dance music.

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, the 'Bad Romance' star said she “loved collaborating with all the DJs and Gesaffelstein on my new album."

“I loved learning about industrial music and about all the different crevices of electronic music,” she continued. “One of the things I’ve probably been judged for in my career was not sticking to one thing. But not sticking to one thing is my life force.”

She also said that the album, which will reportedly be released in February, will be diverse in its range. “It leaps around genre in a way that’s almost corrupt. And it ends with love. That’s the answer to all the chaos in my life is that I find peace with love.”

The album’s lead single, ‘Disease’ was shared with fans in October. She has also released ‘Die With a Smile’, which features Bruno Mars and became the fastest song to reach one billion streams on Spotify.

Her last album, ‘Chromatica’, also leaned into dance music styles, with productions coming from the likes of Skrillex, Axwell, Boys Noize and Tchami, while her remix album featured Arca, A. G. Cook, LSDXOXO, Shygirl and others.

In November, it was revealed that Gaga will headline the 2025 edition of Coachella. It will be the second time she has headlined the festival after her performance in 2017 when she replaced Beyoncé, who dropped out due to pregnancy. Other artists playing at the festival include Sammy Virji, Amelie Lens, HAAi, horsegiirL, Interplanetary Criminal, VTSS and Chris Stussy.
