KORG reveals new FM synthesiser
The new opsix synth retails at $799
KORG has revealed its new FM synthesiser, the opsix.
Costing $799 and out in December, the opsix is a six-operator Altered FM synth. Specifications include 37 velocity and release-velocity sensitive keys, up to 32 voices (or 24 depending on the setting), 21 oscillator waveforms, 23 LFO waveforms and 30 effects such as Chorus, Rotary Speaker, Tape Echo and Distortion.

The opsix is also equipped with seven arpeggiator patterns and 250 preset programs and 250 user programs.
Accessories such as the DS-1H damper pedal, PS-1 pedal switch and PS-3 pedal switch can be purchased separately.
