The sale was highly publicised as it was selling the vest and a one-of-one NFT which was billed as a3D “digital representation” of the vest that was minted by Ethernity.

The vest, as reported by Complex sold for $20,000 and was said to have originated from a security guard who received as a gift from Ye. The same buyer then resold it at Christie’s auction with the NFT.

As part of Christie’s larger Handbags x HYPE: the Luxury Remix sale, other items sold include a complete collection of Off-White Nikes designed by the late Virgil Abloh for over $62,000 and a set of Yeezy 350s for over $37,000.
