Good news from the White Isle - bars and restaurants in Ibiza can reopen from March 5.

The Olive Press reports that use of indoor spaces will be prohibited until March 16 as long as there is not another spike in coronavirus cases before then.

The Confederation Of Business Associations which represents Spanish businesses has said the loosening of the rules is "unsatisfactory". The body points out that in Mallorca, 80 per cent of businesses do not have a terrace.
Business bodies have also been critical of the Balearic government's cautious approach to reopening the hospitality sector and have blasted the lack of financial support for the industry.
However those keeping an eye on Ibiza's road back to a "normal" summer will welcome the news, with the Spanish government looking to start to welcome tourists by the spring.
